Teacher of Engineering, full time, fixed term to 31st August 2027

Stockton Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to deliver both the T Level Engineering and the single AAQ Engineering qualification.

You will be able to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record and track students.

Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject, along with class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting.  You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in leading teaching and learning.

Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds, are also essential.

Applicants with practical experience in engineering workshop environments, including fabrication, welding, casting, milling, turning, and CNC/manual machining, are particularly encouraged to apply.

A full time contract equates to 24 hours of contact time per week.

Salary:             SFCA Teachers Pay Spine up to £51,714 per annum pro rata, depending on experience (pay award pending)
